Chapter of the Day for August

Hello Through the Word! Kris here with a quick note to announce our upcoming series for Chapter of the Day. I have been loving this new dynamic. You know, for years we have always allowed you to choose your own plan on your own timing—which is still awesome and we still love. But this year we kicked off this concept of a Chapter of the Day option for everyone who wants to be on the same plan together, and I love the feedback.

So our August series is … drum roll … Esther: When God is Hidden.

I’m excited for this one—although Esther is not the girl-power Bible book I expected. A male-dominated kingdom, a queen chosen by beauty contest … and God—isn’t even mentioned! Not once!

And did you know that Esther isn’t even a Hebrew name? But add and h, and you get the Hebrew word for hidden. It’s the hidden things that tell the real story.

So if you’d like to join the global community and follow the Chapter of the Day plan, we start Esther Monday, August 11.

And as always, it’s a perfect time to invite some friends to follow the plan together. If you haven’t tried the TTW Together feature, this is your chance.

For you who follow us on socials, we will not have a Verse of the Day series for Esther, but you will see video promos for Esther.
