Start today by creating Church Profile and choose a Through the Word Plan!
How to select a Through the Word Plan as your Featured Plan
- If you haven’t already, create your own Church Profile in YouVersion. Otherwise, sign in to YouVersion at login.youversion.com.
- Select the Featured Plan tab.
- If you have multiple locations, you will want to decide if you want your Featured Plan to go to every location or just one individual location. If you want to feature a plan specific to a location, select that location.
- If you already have a Plan featured, you will need to choose to replace the Plan with a new one. You can only have one Plan featured per location at a time.
- Find and add a Plan by using the search function. You can search by topic or book of the Bible. If you’d like to feature a Through the Word Plan, search the exact name of the plan as listed on the Bible App from YouVersion, such as “Journey #1 | Start”. - Select the Featured Plan tab.

*When you publish a Featured Plan, it will send a push notification to anyone who has chosen to follow your church in the YouVersion App. The Featured Plan is only a recommended plan that someone should start. It will not automatically start the plan for someone nor is it a Plans with Friends.
How to share
Unique link — Once you have selected a Plan to feature on your Church Profile, you can also share that Plan through a unique link. This is a great way to promote the Plan through email, social media, & more!
- Select the Featured Plan tab.
- Find Share This Plan under your set featured Plan.
- Copy the link (QR codes can be generated with the app icon in multiple languages).
- When you share on social media, be sure to tag @throughtheword so we can cheer you on!
Share with Friends — The only thing better about a Through the Word Plan is one that is shared. We often hear that Plans with Friends is a favorite way for friends, couples, and small groups to grow together!
- Open the selected Through the Word Plan.
- Select Start Plan or Start this Plan.
- Select Start a Plan with Friends.
- Select a Start Date.
- Select Friends (max 150) and journey together!
