Kris Langham Introduces Fresh Voices, Fresh Insights!
Hello Through the Word. Hope you’re all doing well! Kris here with a quick announcement before we start—and I’m so excited for this one. Now as you know, we have been updating the app with fresh new content all year long. And now, we have our first of three new teachers! These guys are amazing, and I have so enjoyed working with them on the new recordings. Now I’ll be introducing them one at a time as we launch new content, and the first one available now—is TeDese Ross in 1st and 2nd Peter.
TeDese is a California educator of the year, some of you know him already from our Manhood Talks series, and he’s just a great friend of the ministry with a great voice. You guys are gonna love him. TeDese recorded our new series through Peter’s letters to the church. 1st Peter is about suffering well, and 2nd Peter is about living a godly life and discerning true from false. So join TeDese and check those out now. Enjoy it, share it, and if you like it, send us a note and we’ll pass it along.
Two more new teachers—and more new content from me—all coming soon.
Meet TeDese Ross: New teacher on Through the Word
In 2020, TeDese Ross was named Educator of the Year by the California League of High Schools. He is passionately committed to assisting historically underprivileged populations and is driven by a clear personal goal to promote student success for all. Despite facing seemingly insurmountable obstacles in his own life, TeDese’s experiences have only strengthened his dedication to education. He is a father, educator, basketball coach, and mentor who currently resides in Southern California with his family. TeDese completed graduate work in special education and believes that, as a “broken vessel,” his mission is to help guide others who may also feel broken toward the Face of God.
Live Holy, Love Deeply, Suffer Well
“Trials produce perseverance. Perseverance produces hope.” For a Christian, trials take on a different meaning—a different purpose—and Peter wants to make sure that we suffer well. Peter calls us to overcome evil with good—to live holy, love deeply, and follow humbly. Join TeDese Ross for clear explanation and compelling application through Peter’s heartfelt letter to suffering Christians.
“God has given us everything we need for a godly life.” In his final letter, Peter reminds us that we are fully equipped. God gave us all we need, and he wants us to grow! Join TeDese Ross for clear explanation and compelling application through 2nd Peter, as Peter commends us to grow in the Scriptures, discern truth from lies, and wait patiently for Christ’s return.
