Kris Langham’s Top Audio Guide Suggestions for Travel Time
Hello there friends. It’s July! Happy summer up north, happy winter down south. It is travel time, and if you’re like me, travel means time for a good audio book.
So if you’re looking for some great stories to join you on your travels, I’ve got a few suggestions right here on Through the Word.
For road trips with kids, maybe some drama — like Daniel or maybe Joseph’s story beginning at Genesis 37 (but skip 38 for the kiddos) or some wisdom in Proverbs.
For longer trips with older kids or just you — try Exodus or Revelation, or our new updates in Luke and Acts! Summer is the perfect time for good stories, so remember to download the plan ahead if you’ll be on the plane or out of service.
And what a great time to suggest one of your favorites to your friends traveling.
Thanks for taking us with you on the journey!
Bonus note from Kris:
Hey friends! While we’re talking about planning for summer travels, I want to let you know that our friends at the Mother Funny podcast just released two helpful (and hilarious) episodes for moms about traveling with kids. My wife Andie shares some of our best stories from a couple decades of family adventures on the road and in the air (the road trip she mentions from Cali to Maine is the same one that I recorded Numbers while literally on the road). Since I’m always talking about going on a journey with you guys, I thought you might enjoy hearing about some of our family journeys. Hope you enjoy, and happy travels this summer! Or winter, depending on your hemisphere =).
